
Provost
Dr. Amos Bulus Cirfat
Dr. Amos Bulus Cirfat is the new substantive Provost of the Federal College of Education Pankshin. His appointment letter which was signed by the Honourable Minister of Education Mallam Adamu Adamu is with effect from 28th December, 2016 for a period of four (4) years in the first instance.
He is the first substantive Provost to be appointed from within the system who has served as Dean, School of Sciences and Students' Affairs as well as Chairman of the SERVICOM Unit of the institution.
Dr. Amos Bulus Cirfat is a former Deputy Provost of the College, National President of the Science Teachers' Association of Nigeria, STAN, and a Chief Lecturer in the Biology Department of the school of Sciences of the institution.
He is a teacher to the core, scholar, distinguished administrator, unionist, loving and committed husband, caring father, loving friend, youth mentor, people and grassroot mobiliser, God fearing, humble, respectful, reasonable, and a responsible Nigerian.
Born on 6th June, 1958 to the family of Baba Bulus Cirfat of Kwanpe, Bwarat District of Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau state, Dr. Amos B. Cirfat holds a Bachelor of Education Degree in Biology Education (ABU, Zaria, 1990), a Master of Science Education Degree from the University of Jos in 1993 and a Doctor of Philosophy Education Degree from the Benue State University in 2014.
The new Provost has also served as a member of various accreditation teams to Colleges of Education across the Country as well as many other national responsibilities. Thus, he is blessed with a massive wealth of knowledge in education and leadership within and outside the College.
He is married to Mrs. Lohya A. Cirfat and blessed with four children.

Deputy Provost
Dr. Christiana Fwenji Zumyil
Dr. Christiana Fwenji Zumyil, hails from Bet district, Pankshin Local Government of Plateau State. She started her educational pursuit at Holy Cross Primary School, Pankshin 1975-1981 and Government Secondary School Pankshin, 1982-1986 before enrolling in Remedial Science, University of Jos 1987-1988, and obtained B.Sc (Ed)Biology Education in 1994 and and M.Sc (Ed) Biology in the same institution. She earned Certificate in Computer Application (CCA) from Federal College of Education, Pankshin in 2004.
Further studies, she went to Benue State University Makurdi, where she bag her Ph.D. in Science Education in 2019. She also went to the African Peace Institute Zambia for training on peace and Conflict Management in 2010.
Dr. Christiana Fwenji Zumyil’s working career in life started as an N.Y.S.C Corps member- Plateau State 1994/95, where she taught Biology atGovernment College, Pankshin (GCP). She was later employed by the Plateau State Teacher Service Comission (TSC) as Biology teacher with Government Secondary School, Bet/Pankshin 1996-1998. For pursuit for greener pasture, she got employed as Lecturer with Biology Department of Federal College of Education, Pankshin where she was voted as the Dean School of Sciences until her appointment as the Deputy Provost Federal College of Education, Pankshin by Chief Dr. Amos Bulus Cirfat.
Her hardworking lifestyle has earned her numerous awards.
The awards include:
> Icon of academic uplifting of (NANGS). Presented by National Association Of Ngas Students FCE Pankshin Branch (2012)
> Merit award for contributions to the Parish, presented by Holy Cross Parish Pankshin (2013).
> Merit award for unflinching support to the growth of choir and active participation in all her activities, presented by Kungiyan Mawakan Harshen Hausa Ikkilisiyar Katolika Jos Archdiocese (2014).
> The Concern Head of Department (HOD), Biology Department, FCE Pankshin presented by the EXCO-Biology Student’s Association 2012/2013
> Merit award in recognition of outstanding dedication and invaluable services to the Ladies Auxiliary Knights of St. John International, Jos Grand (2017).
> Award of Excellence as Modulator of Educational Excellence presented by National Association of Ngas Students (NANGS) National Body on the 27th of December, 2020.
She have served the community in different capacities such as:
- National Treasurer of Ngas Development Association (NDA).
- Vice President, Jos Archdiocesan Laity Council.
- Pankshin Diocesan Laity council and presently Secretary of Pankshin Diocesan Laity Council.
She enjoys Travelling, Reading and Listening to music.
She is a family woman (widowed) with five children.

Registar
Nna Homsuk, Elizabeth Yiltong
Nna Homsuk, Elizabeth Yiltong hails from Bakin Ciyawa in Qua’an-Pan Local Government of Plateau State. She started her educational pursuit at St. Theresa’s Girls’ Primary School and Fatima Private School, before enrolling in St. Louise College all in Jos. For further studies, she went to the Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi, and then to University of Jos where she obtained Diploma and Degree certificates in Business Administration and Sociology in that order. Nna Homsuk also holds a Masters of Public Administration which she obtained from the University of Lagos in 1999.
Nna Homsuk’s career in administration spans two decades beginning from the prestigious Industrial Training Fund (ITF) in 1992. In 1999, she moved to Eyitiz Ventures Ltd and served briefly as Administrative Manager, before sojourning to the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, Lagos; where she rose from the rank of Admin Officer I to become a Deputy Registrar in the year 2016. In 2019, she moved back to her home State, Plateau, when she was appointed the Registrar, Federal College of Education, Pankshin.
It is said that there is always a reward for hard work and dedication. This assertion holds true of Nna Homsuk as she has won so many awards in the course of her career.
The awards include:

(2) Merit Award as the Best Admin Officer
(3) Best Hall Warden Merit Award, and so many others.

Librarian
Dr. Ainoko Samson, CLN
The College Library Department is headed by Dr. Ainoko, a veteran and certified Librarian.
In the course of his eighteenth (18) years service at the Nigeria Law School, he headed the Law Library at Abuja (Hqts) at two different times in acting capacity in the years 2005 and 2008 respectively and thereafter became substantive head of Yola Campus Library between 2014-2017.
